Welcome to Maman on the Trail’s Stop

on the Super Dad Giveaway Hop

Father’s Day is just around the corner, which means it is time to celebrate the fathers and father figures in our lives. I don’t know about you, but I try to celebrate those men more often than once a year. They deserve it! And do you know what else they deserve? To win! You can help them to win by entering the more than 50 giveaways associated with this giveaway hop. But I will get to all of that in a moment.

Finding the perfect gift for Father’s Day was always a struggle for my sisters and me. My dad is not the stereotypical guy for whom all of those marketed Father’s Day gifts are perfect. Come to think of it, the only Father’s Day or birthday gifts we have given him that he still has somehow incorporated a picture of us all together. My husband is much the same way. Yes, they have interests and hobbies, but they are much more sentimental than anything. If you have or know a dad like that, you know exactly what I’m talking about, otherwise, excuse my rambling.

So, when I had the opportunity to seek out a gift to give away to a random dad somewhere in North America, I felt momentarily stumped. Then it occurred to me, a matching POP and TOT Tee Set! Fashion, function, photo ops and sentimentality all rolled in to one! And who doesn’t love a new shirt? Thank you, TOSAN!

Tosan (tō-sän) // short for o-tosan or father in japanese

Tosan is the intersection of menswear and parenthood, selvedge denim and dad jeans, vintage trucks and car seats, half marathons and jogging strollers. We believe in the inherent and undeniable radness of fatherhood. We believe you were cool before kids, but you are cooler now. Sons and daughters change us at the deepest levels–but that shift doesn’t necessarily mean you’re super excited about using gear with baby ducks all over it. We get it.

We source and create thoughtfully-designed, American-made goods for the papas of the world. You are busy showing a small human how to live and be, let us help you figure out the stuff you’ll need along the way.

IT’S GIVEAWAY TIME!! Enter the giveaway using the widget below for your chance to win a POP and TOT Tee Set from Tosan. Head to TosanKnowsBest.com to see what other great stuff they offer, from bags to boards, books to blankets.

We are not sure! This is his first Father’s Day! We are bad at planning. These shirts might make up for it.

Every year for father’s day we host both my parents and my husband’s parents at our house. We usually make a turkey or ham dinner for all my non-vegetarian relatives. Then the family plays cards while I clean up and go for a walk to get away from the noise.

I love this idea! We used to picnic for every special occasion but that has fallen apart this past year. I like the idea of exploring a new trail. Thanks!

My dad passed away several years ago. I think my sister and I are going to spend the day with her daughter’s family. We will probably go out to eat and give her husband presents 🙂

Not sure yet about this year, but one of my favorites from the past was going to a baseball game with my husband, his dad, and the rest of the family.

We’re taking it easy. We bought a gift and will make dinner for papa and probably spend the day on this great island nearby or at the beach.

My husband is all about the food. He wants to try a new breakfast place and get subs for lunch, and then he wants me to make him something special for dinner. And that’s all he wants. Food, food, and food!
